A dark oolong from Yunnan made in the lao cha wang style exudes a bright, roasted fruit aroma with a slight cigar tinge when heated with the breath. Water at about 90° produces a golden amber brew. After the first pour, the fruity aroma almost disappears, and notes of roasted fruits, tobacco and cigars dominate. The taste is soft, delicate and gravity-defying. Sweetness of lychee, sultanas, cinnamon, baked goods and subtle bergamot acidity in the background. A playful caramel aftertaste. The tea does a good job of warming up the body, slightly relaxing, relaxing the mind and improving the mood. We recommend stronger brewing to feel more body in the tea.
