An unusual hei cha tea from Master Zhang.

The matte black dry tea leaves are packed in a Tibetan bag. When warmed with the breath, the scent of dried fruit, chocolate, library dust and steamed bath brooms is experienced. The brew is dark, thick, ruby-brown with an amazing sweet nutty nougat aroma. The flavor is very varied, but balanced. The sweetness of nuts, bread crust, cocoa, dried plums and licorice is tinged with tangerine and mint acidity and flows seamlessly into a soft, resinous bitterness and an aftertaste of decayed leaves - a true symphony of flavor in the cup. The aftertaste is slightly harsh, sweet and ambient.

The tea gently tones, refreshes, warms. Ideal for the morning. In the evening it will help you warm up and relax after a day's work, but we recommend a rather weak infusion, otherwise a sleepless night is guaranteed.
