Longan, also known as "Dragon's Eye," is an evergreen tree with juicy flesh of aromatic fruits and a unique sweet taste. We see a medium-sized, spherically twisted leaf of dark green color with a yellow petiole.
When heated with the breath, sweet, clear longan aroma with notes of baked goods. Water at 90°C and a golden brew. The aroma opens with fruits, berries, caramel and confectionery notes. Unusual, smooth, buttery flavor with sweetness of longan, lychee, red apple, raisins, sponge cake and a touch of jasmine. Moderate, refined acidity of tangerine, grapefruit and orchid. The aftertaste is long-lasting, flirting with tropical fruits, with subtle hints of baked goods.
