The tea leaf is medium-sized, dark, with an elongated twist. The aroma is spicy and woody, slightly tobacco-like, with floral notes in the background. The finished tea is rich, slightly chocolatey, with a slight acidity. The aftertaste is warm and sweet, with hints of dry cherries and raisins.
The tea may not seem very expressive, but it drinks easily and pleasantly. Good for an evening tea on a damp autumn day.
