Georgian red tea from Nargiza's grandmother from Tsalenjikha, Samegrelo region.
Appearance
Medium-sized, slightly loosely twisted, dark burgundy leaves with a bluish tinge.
Taste and aroma
The aroma of the dried leaves is warm and light, with notes of sweet baked goods and raisins. The infusion is rich and golden. After the first brewing, the aroma becomes more intense, with honey and fruity notes. The delicate flavor offers the subtle sweetness of biscuits and figs and the subtle tartness of tangerine and violet. The aftertaste is sweet and slightly rough.
Effect
This tea is best brewed strong. It warms and refreshes perfectly.
