The greenish-black, twisted leaves smell exactly like blackberry bushes. It can be drunk both as an infusion and poured, the leaf holds up quite well. The cognac infusion has a honey and berry flavor. But if you insist harder, you'll get an oil infusion with a tart and sticky texture, like young sheng pu-erh. The drink contains no caffeine or tannins, making it safe to drink at night. It alleviates hunger. It is good on its own, but also complements various tea blends and mixes well.
