"Red water oolong" is a special variety of Taiwanese oolong with a degree of fermentation similar to red tea. Red Water Oolong takes oolong as a base, but instead of leaving the fermentation somewhere in the middle, as is usually the case, it is carried out to the end. With this technology, the tea combines the subtlety and elegance of oolongs with the warmth and flavor profile of red teas. This particular specimen was made from a shrub of the Si Ji Chun variety.
Greenish-brown leaves, tightly rolled, clear yellow infusion. Juicy fruity-bread aroma with creamy notes. Clean, soft taste with acidity, filled with notes of berries and fruit. The texture is silky. The aftertaste is sweet and light.
