A spectacular red tea made from raw materials from Yunnan.

Appearance

Young, hairy buds with two small leaves are twisted into tight spirals, with dark green tea leaf stripes visible in places. The dried leaves smell like roasted honey cookies. Warmed by the breath, one can smell intoxicating floral nectar, a sun-warmed meadow with notes of vanilla, roasted nuts and seeds.

Taste and aroma

The infusion is orange-yellow in color with a lemony-greenish tinge. The aroma is resinous and bread-like, with floral notes. The taste is very discreet and delicate. Listening in, one can detect notes of baked goods, honey, oriental spices, vanilla and dried fruits against an overall soft, velvety background. As you pour, a slight grassy note appears in the aroma, and the taste becomes more tart, woody and less sweet. The lid of the gaiwan smells of young, resinous forest. The aftertaste is gingerbread and honey.

Effect

The tea warms and energizes, while gently calming the mind. Suitable for morning or noon, a good choice for a beautiful tea ceremony with friends. A ceremonial variety with an impressive appearance, intense aroma and light taste. The buds contain a lot of caffeine, which caffeine-sensitive people should pay attention to. The tea will appeal to lovers of dianhong and red tea in general.
